Obituary of Donald Colley

Best friend and beloved husband of Donna Evans Colley. Loved by his children Christopher (Cathy) Colley and Alison Colley (Lyle), Christopher (Bonnie) Evans and Alison Evans (Jeff), grandchildren Jennifer Colley, Neil Colley, Alexx Colley-Reynolds (Brett), Ethan Colley-Reynolds, Alannah (Casey) Uens, Cameron Evans, great grandchildren Serina and William Colley, Grayson, Rowan and Wren Uens. He is also survived by his brother Andrew and stepmother Trudy in Switzerland. Don was born in England and emigrated to Canada in 1965, settling in Brampton, Ontario. After a successful career in real estate, he embarked upon a career in property management with several companies, this culminated in him opening his own business, Peel Management Services Inc. Don loved boating. He was an avid power boater on Georgian Bay and sailor on Lake Ontario and Corpus Christi Bay, Texas. He also loved travel but more recently he was happy to enjoy his beautiful backyard in Fort Erie with family, friends and his dog Gabby. Don will be missed by his many friends, especially those who have become like family. We would like to thank both Barbara, his wonderful nurse and Dr Scher for their loving and exceptional care. At Don’s request, cremation arrangements have been made with Benner Funeral Home in Fort Erie. A celebration of Don’s life will follow at a later date. In memory of Don and at the request of the Colley-Evans family, donations in Don’s memory can be made to Douglas Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Saint Elizabeth Health Care or COPE in Fort Erie.
