I worked with Mike at Value City Furniture. He was always well dressed as if he was getting ready to pose for a GQ magazine. I was going through some very bad times and if it had not been for Mike I don't think I would made it. What a great man and friend to know Mike was to love Mike. I will miss you my old friend but I will remember all the life lessons you have instilled in me.

I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Much to young! He went through a long hard battle. I hate cancer! My condolences and sympathy to Sue, who is so amazing, and to all of Mike's family. Mike had such a great sense of wry humor and such a great mischievous smile. I will remember him with that smile.

Mike was a great person. He did work on my house and we talked the whole time he was here. I considered him a friend not just someone I hired. He will be missed.

So very, very sad of hearing this terrible news. He fought long and hard. May he rest in eternal peace. Please know we are all thinking of Mike and his family. I loved growing up with Mike as teenagers and he will always be the funniest and handsomest of them all.

Sue, you are a pillar of strength & the definition of absolute unconditional, devoted, & selfless love. Thank God you & Mike had that incredible love together! My heart hurts so much that i can't even find words to explain how much I adored your husband! I am just so THANKFUL to have had Mike in my life and i am ABSOLUTELY a better person for having known him. So many reminders all around my home, of things he's fixed or things he's suggested i do. He will be with me until my own final days. I am thankful to consider you both, close to my heart & dear friends.
However.. i do draw the line on reusing my napkins! He often handed me a used one & it always cracked me up & I'd use his own line.. " I deny!"
Love you forever Michael, Michael prayers for Suzie Q to hold you close in her heart.

Mike was a very good friend. He would stop by to visit me when he was in my area, day or night. He always commented on my construction jobs, offering his unique advice and always willing to lend a hand. I enjoyed his optimistic point of view and his quiet and direct sense of humour. I will miss Mike and the way he would go out of his way to let me know that I was his friend!

Mike was simply amazing. There are so many great memories from working together for over 17 years. One of my favorites was our group lunch outings at the Chinese Buffet. Mike was very well known there . You could always count on Mike to order the tea that only he drank, and to walk out with a ice cream cone and granola in hand to place on his dashboard for later. Prayers to the family, Mike was loved by many and will be truly missed.

We came to know Mike through his wife, Sue, who was already a close family friend. Mike was the kind of guy who was down to earth and never too busy to lend a capable hand to others. Mike had the skills to fix almost anything that needed attention in a home and when he left Sue's place after a visit, she would long admire the fine workmanship he gave to projects in her home. Together, they made quick work of painting jobs, working well together in this way, just like they did in life. His dry sense of humor was always a highlight in any gathering and kept everyone smiling, despite the challenges of raising kids and navigating the long distance from the north. Mike will be sorely missed. Our heartfelt condolences to the whole family. We are better for knowing him.

Mike was always so kind and thoughtful. Each time visiting in Buffalo i would make a surprise visit to see him at Value City or we would get together for breakfast. Mike always made family gatherings fun and he will be fondly remembered. Gone too soon
