Obituary of Wayne Philip Morrison

January 27, 1945 - September 11, 2019 A determined fighter until his last breath. Wayne passed away after an incredible 8 year battle with cancer. He was surrounded by the love of his family every moment of his final journey. Wayne was a man like no other, truly one of a kind, with his wicked sense of humour and his famous one liners. His incredible strength and love for his family, defeated the odds and time lines given to him. Never a quitter and accepting each challenge with a smile, he was always sure to make us laugh no matter his pain. Wayne was a hard working, dedicated Yard Manager of Green Forest Lumber for over 20 years and eventually retired from Gibbons Construction. He will be forever loved and missed by the love of his life and soulmate, Joy Barron. He will also be missed by his loving children Jennifer (Michael) Teal, Denny (Suzanne) Morrison, Terri (Steve) Sampson and Sharon Poole. His pride and joy was his grandchildren, Kayla, Macie and Avery Teal, Alexander and Gabriel Morrison and Marina and Chelsea Osmond. Predeceased by son David and grandson Ryan Teal. Wayne will be missed and loved by Joy's family. A Celebration for Wayne's Life will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 2-6 pm at Stevensville Conservation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
