So sorry to Wilma and family for the loss of Joe. I am sitting here thinking about 40 years ago when Joe and I worked in Real Estate. He certainly called them as he saw them. I can not tell you how many times Joe was there to help me and he had a heart bigger than the size of the Town of Fort Erie itself. I always thought to myself I hope I can be half the man Joe Morlog is. Heaven gained a champion.

Dear "tante Mien" and family,
Our condolences for your loss. It's hard to believe "ome Sjef"is passed away. When we visit the family last oktober he was 89, looks still strong and was still clear headed. The same "Ome Sjef" as I remember during his visits together with ?Tante Mien ? to our family in Holland. Making jokes, always an opinion, at Friday eating "nieuwe haring" by the fishmonger and drinking a beer by "Dina de Poot". Dear family, Tante Mien and Ome Sjef are the last of our family- generation of the 2ww. For respect to ?Ome Sjef we will listing during the funeral to Vera Lynn ?we?ll meet again? what belongs to that generation and will be with you all. ?Ome Sjef? was a proud Dutch Canadian, like a Maple tree. At the moment it?s winter. But even without leaves a Maple tree, as ?Ome Sjef? is impressive. ?Tante Mien and family much strength to handle the lost of ?Ome Sjeff?
Nico&Marian and childeren

Our deepest condolences for your loss. Uncle Joe may have appeared to be a crusty, opinionated, stubborn Dutchman, but he had an intelligence to be respected, a work ethic to be admired and a sense of honour and integrity to aspire to. He was one of a kind and will be missed. Uncle Joe you were one of the good ones.
