Obituary of Mae Alice Collingridge

COLLINGRIDGE, Mae Alice Daughter of the late Charles B. and Alice H. Brown. She was born in Buffalo, N.Y. in 1919 and lived most of her life in Fort Erie. Predeceased by her beloved husband John H. Collingridge. Sadly missed by her son Charles (Sharon Olm) of Burlington and daughter Elsa (David) Ferguson of Dundas. Cherished grandmother of Kyla (Joseph) Hoyles, Laura (Jeffery) Sutherland, Kendall (Kathleen Coleman) Collingridge and Melanie Olm. Proud great grandmother of Lucy, Cameron, Wesley, Leah, Evan and Paige. She was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church and the Anglican Church Women, Treasurer of the Peace Bridge Area Red Cross, Member of the Fort Erie Horticultural Society and the Bertie Historical Society as well as a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and the Friends of the Library. Cremation has taken place with interment to be in St. Paul's Cemetery. Benner Funeral Services has been entrusted with the arrangements. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church on Thursday, July 28th at 11am. Family will meet friends at a reception in the Parish Hall following service. Flowers gratefully declined by the family. If so desired, donations may be made to the Primates World Relief and Development Fund of the Anglican Church or to St. Paul's Building Fund.
