Obituary of Douglas Clifford House

Doug passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Friday April 10, 2015 with his family by his side. Predeceased by his wife Margaret "Peggy" Proud father of Wayne, Brenda (Bob) Brown, Gord (Patti), Shari (Ron) and Paul (Jeanne). Cherished grandfather of Shayne, Erin, Nicole, Spencer, Sam and Jake. Sadly missed brother of Elaine Bartscher, Miriam Haynes and Gord (Jean) House. Also survived by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Audrey Winger. Doug was a proud member and retired Chief of Fort Erie Fire Station #5 where he served for over 40 years. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10 am until the time of service in the Funeral Chapel at 11 o'clock. If so desired, donations to Dreams to Memories would be appreciated by the family
