Obituary of Harry Livingston Barnhart

Barnhart, Harry Livingston Harry passed away peacefully in his 75th year surrounded by family at the Douglas Memorial Hospital. Loving son of the late Harry and Gladys Barnhart. Survived by cousin and dear friend Robert Muth (late Marjorie). Cousins Stephen Muth (Deb) and Lisa Mills (David). Also survived by many more extended family members. Harry was a teacher for many years at Fort Erie Senior Elementary and Bertie Elementary schools. He will be fondly remembered by his long-time friends, many of whom were teachers as well. Heartfelt thanks to his dearest friends, who not only stood by him during their friendship, but brought comfort to him in his final days. Special thanks to Dr. Scher and the staff at Douglas memorial Hospital. Harry was a proud member of the Fort Erie Legion Branch 71, as well as a founding member of the Heritage Arts Legacy of Fort Erie. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave. Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. Family will receive friends on Friday, October 7th from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Funeral Services in the Chapel on Saturday at 11 o'clock. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. If so desired, donations can be made to the Poppy Fund of Legion Br. 71, the SPCA or the Horse and Pony Rescue (Ridgeway)
