Obituary of Deogratias Niragira

NIRAGIRA, Deogratias passed away peacefully at St. Catharine's General Hospital on September 13, 2016 at the age of 66. Lovingly remembered by his children Sheila, Prosper, Diane, Elvis, Ornella & Vanessa, as well as by their mother Micheline Kubwimana. Cherished grandfather of Keza, Giana & Xavier. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and extended family. An avid reader and lover of travel, Deo was passionate about helping those in need. He loved celebrating life and all the beauty it had to offer. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, September 20th from 6-8pm. A memorial mass will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church on Saturday, September 24th at 12pm. A reception will follow in the church hall. Floral tributes for Tuesday's visitation may be sent to or dropped off at the funeral home by 3pm that day.
