Obituary of Vernice Stortz

Stortz : Vernice Katherine

Vernice passed away on February 23rd 2026 at the Crescent Park Lodge where she had been surrounded by family and a wonderful caring staff.   Predeceased by her beloved husband Edwin, she was the last surviving of 13 children born to Emma and Joseph Kostuk.  Loving mother to Gail Pellerin, Brenda (Gerald) Foster, Vera Stortz and Joe (Cheryl) Stortz.  Her stories will live on with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She is also survived by 2 sisters in law.  Predeceased by her son Paul and daughter Vivian.

In keeping with Vernice's wishes, cremation services were entrusted to Benner Funeral Services, Fort Erie.
