Obituary of Chris Berrington

Christopher Leonard Dominick BERRINGTON

November 12, 1980 – February 2, 2026

Surrounded by the love of his family, Christopher passed away on February 2, 2026 at Douglas Memorial Hospital after a hard fought battle.

Loving son and best friend to his parents Gail and Bryan Berrington. He will be sadly missed by his brother David, his niece Amelia, and his Auntie Lynn.

Christopher loved and was loved by his nephews Ryan and Lukas. To them he was fondly known as Uncle.

He will also be missed by all his great friends at the Canada Post Depot in Niagara Falls.

Christopher was predeceased by his sister Amanda, Aunt Cathy, Uncle Harry and his grandparents. A very special thank you to Dr. Scher and all the wonderful staff at DMH for their care and compassion.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Benner Funeral Services. As per Christopher’s request, cremation has taken place and there will not be any funeral.

If desired, donations would be appreciated by the family and can be made to the Building Fund of St. Paul’s Anglican Church or Hospice Niagara – Willson House being directed toward the new hospice being built in Fort Erie.
