Obituary of Brian Learn
It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Brian Learn on Monday, December 15, 2025.
Brian was the dearly loved and cherished husband of Diane (née Kinghorn) and a devoted dad to his beloved fur kids, Marvin and Helen. He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Sharon (Simon) Arenseau and Brenda (Ian) Wright; his brother Wayne (Linda); sister-in-law and cousin Linda (Robert) Learn; brothers-in-law Laird (Lesley) and Dave (Kathy) Kinghorn; as well as his many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Brian was predeceased by his parents, George and Hazel Learn; his brother Kevin; nephew Marty Learn; his mother-in-law Joan Kinghorn; and his sister and brother-in-law Laurie and Ron Canavan.
Brian will be fondly remembered for his exceptional mechanical, design, and carpentry skills, and for the humour, smiles, and laughter he shared so freely with everyone he met. In recent years, Brian truly lived life to the fullest, accomplishing and enjoying his many goals - whether building, repairing, and creating, puttering in the garage, camping, walking Marvin, or arranging pup playdates. His sudden passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him, yet he leaves behind countless cherished memories filled with joy and laughter.
Diane would like to extend her heartfelt gratitude to the Fort Erie EMS, Firefighters, and NRP for their professionalism, compassion, and kindness. Their care and support during this difficult time will never be forgotten.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Niagara – Willson House, directed toward the new hospice currently being built in Fort Erie. Benner Funeral Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
Be at peace, Brian.
