Despite his love of business, his favourite role was that of a loving husband (Ineke's best friend), proud father and grandfather. He delighted in traveling around Ontario with his two boys playing travel hockey at the highest level, eventually to professional hockey in the US. His grandson followed and then granddaughter. They brought him much joy and pride and he lived for those times. He was enormously proud of the successful men Ryan, Micheal and Cail have become. And his "Sweety Petie" Alex brought him so much happiness. An unfortunate accident left him unable to pursue any further ventures. He will be loved and missed.
