Obituary of James Kelly

JAMES MAXWELL KELLY

1937 – 2025

As an avid Toronto Maple Leaf’s fan, Jim could no longer wait for them to win the Stanley Cup and quietly passed away on November 10, 2025 at 88 years old.

Jim was a proud Navy man for 10 years before moving to Fort Erie in 1966 and retiring from Fleet in 2000.

The torch will be passed on to his family to cheer for his Leafs – the love of his life for 66 years Nancy, his 2 girls Cheryl and Joanne (Mike), his Grandchildren Tanya (Joe), Robert (Staci) and Jacy (Justin),  his Great Grandchildren Jacob, Aralyn and Jazlyn and his Nephew Greg Kelly.

A very special thank you to the Nursing Staff of 2 West at Port Colborne hospital for their compassionate and understanding care Jim received during this difficult time.

Cremation has taken place and interment will take place at McAffee Cemetery.

Arrangements entrusted to Benner Funeral Services, Fort Erie, Ontario.
