Obituary of Evelyn Mona Cadiz

Evelyn Mona Cadiz, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully passed in the comfort of her daughter’s home on August 21st, 2025 at the age of 95. She was a woman of deep faith and a gentle spirit who touched the lives of all who knew her.
Evelyn’s legacy of love and care continues through her five children: John (Ann), Anne Marie, Brian (Eileen), Christopher (Angela), and Caroline (Roger). She was a proud grandmother to 14 grandchildren, a great-grandmother to 19, and a great-great-grandmother to one. In her final years, she was lovingly cared for by her daughter Anne Marie. Evelyn now joins her beloved husband Patrick, her late son John, and grandchild Michelle in heaven, where she has found eternal peace.

Benner Funeral Services has been entrusted with arrangements. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday August 30th at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Michael Roman Catholic Church, 310 Central Avenue, Fort Erie, ON. Following the service, friends and family are invited to a reception held at 12:30 p.m. in the lower room of The Commercial Roadhouse, 3752 Netherby Road, Stevensville, ON. Light refreshments will be served.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Good Shepherd through https://goodshepherd.ca/donate/ and would be appreciated by her family. Evelyn and Patrick generously volunteered at the Good Shepherd, serving meals to the community of downtown Toronto.

Her legacy of faith, love, and kindness will forever live in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
