Passed away on Wednesday August 13th 2025 in Fort Erie, Ontario at the age of 96. She is reunited with her late husband of over 70 years James who passed away last year.
Loving mother to David (Laurie) and Graham (Terry). Predeceased by her son Craig (Mèlinda). Doting grandmother to Andrew (Eshani), Jen, Alex, Chantal, Jen (Kyle), Alyson (Mark), Catey (JR) and Meghan (predeceased). Cherished great-grandmother of Ashlynn, Jake, Colton, Mason, Travis and Nolan.
Predeceased by her siblings, Ella will be missed by nieces and nephews in the USA, Canada and Scotland. The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff at Gilmore Lodge for their excellent care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Benner Funeral Services has been entrusted with arrangements. A private family service will be held. If you wish to donate in her memory please consider the SickKids Foundation.
