Obituary of Bob Joseph Booth Jr.

With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Bob Joseph Booth, who left us on July 19, 2025, at the age of 72. A man of grit, laughter, and loyalty, Bob lived life on his own terms, with the throttle wide open and a heart full of love for those closest to him.

Bob was the proud and loving father of Caralee (Mike) Grummett and a deeply devoted grandfather to Charlie and Ella Grummett, who brought endless joy to his life. He was the protective and proud big brother to his twin sisters, Christine (Mark) McBride and Catharine (Jay) Todd. Bob now reunites with his late sister Marsha Barrow and his dear parents, Bob and Isobel Booth. Bob leaves behind many extended family and close friends who will miss him dearly.

Whether riding one of his motorcycles, travelling the world for work, or simply cracking a joke with a friend, Bob lived fully and unapologetically. He had a special bond with his dog, Scooter, and a deep affection for the simple pleasures in life; good company, a good ride, and a good laugh.

For over 40 years, Bob dedicated himself to CAN-ENG Furnaces, where his legacy extended far beyond the industrial furnaces he helped build and install around the world. He brought a relentless work ethic and sharp expertise to every project. Bob expected the best, sometimes more than most were ready for, and while he could be tough, those who truly knew him saw the deep loyalty, integrity, and quiet generosity that defined him.

A true original. BBMF.

The family would like to extend an invitation to a Celebration of Life for Bob to be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm at the Stevensville Fire Hall. In lieu of flowers a donation to Heart Niagara or the Fort Erie SPCA can be made. Benner Funeral Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
