Obituary of Betty-Lou Noel

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Betty-Lou Noel on Thursday June 12th, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Betty-Lou will be lovingly remembered by her devoted spouse, Wayne Held, and her cherished sister Marilyn Noel. She leaves behind a legacy of love in her children; Jacqueline McGroarty (Gerald), Dennis Noel, Gloria White (Randy), and Carol Dunsieth (Mark).

She was a proud and loving grandmother to Kara-Lee, Brandon, Robynn, CJ, Cody, and Jordan, and a joyful great-grandmother to Makai, Luke, Arya, and Greyson.

Betty-Lou had a heart full of kindness and a spirit that lifted everyone around her. She found joy in the simple things - camping under the stars, a good game of cards, and sharing laughter that was as contagious as it was comforting. Her sweet and caring nature left an unforgettable mark on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Benner Funeral Services. A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Betty-Lou’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honour her memory by sharing a laugh, a story, or a game of cards with someone you love.
