Elaine was surrounded by her family when she passed away at the Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie on May 25, 2025 at the age of 86.  She married her childhood sweetheart Ross Benner and they spent over 70 years together.  Forever in the hearts of her 4 boys, Tim (Margaret), Ross (Karen), Barry (Cynthia) and Dan (Ann).  She was very proud of her 11 grandchildren and her great grandchild.  Survived by siblings Ruby, Evelyn, Leah, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.  Predeceased by siblings William and Arnold.

A private Funeral Mass was held at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church.  Arrangements entrusted to Benner Funeral Services.
