Obituary of Peter Stanley Parwicki

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Stanley Parwicki, a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. Peter passed on Friday, April 18, 2025.

Born and raised in Toronto, Peter dedicated his professional life to serving his community as a letter carrier with Canada Post for over 30 remarkable years. Rain, snow, or shine, Peter was a familiar and friendly face on his route, delivering not just mail but also a warm smile and a kind word to countless residents. His commitment and reliability were hallmarks of his long career, and he took immense pride in his work.

Family was the cornerstone of Peter's life. He was the beloved husband of Connie, with whom he shared many years of love, laughter, and unwavering support. Peter was a loving and proud father to Jaime, Julie (Jared), and Tim (Nicole). Loving grandfather to Tucker, Danika, Sawyer, Emmett, Brodie, Mercedes and Bishop. Peter will also be missed by many family members and friends. He cherished his family and was a constant source of guidance, encouragement, and unconditional love. Peter was predeceased by his son, Shawn, and the memory of Shawn remained forever in his heart. 

Peter will be fondly remembered for his gentle nature, and sense of humour. He had a way of making everyone feel comfortable and valued, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Friends are invited to join his family for visitation at Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Avenue in Fort Erie, on Wednesday April 23 from 2 to 3 pm. A Funeral Service to celebrate his life will be held at 3 pm in the funeral home Chapel. Cremation will follow. Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, and would be appreciated by his family.
