Willempien 'Wilma' Mills
Wilma passed away peacefully on Thursday April 17th, 2025 after her 75th birthday. Her genuine faith in her Lord and Saviour has now become sight. Daughter of parents Henry and Alice Lohr. Wilma was the loving and cherished mother of Matt, Monica, Morgan and Royce, and mother-in-law of Heleen and Sabrina.
Lovingly remembered by her fourteen grandchildren; Matt Jr. (Sarah), Luke (Melissa), Hannah, Noah, Hope, Levi, Owen, Connor, Ariana, Holly, Lake, Violet, Joeb and Quinn. She is predeceased by her grandson Mark.
Wilma also leaves behind six great-grandchildren; Grace, Erica, Isaac, Everly, Reid and Landon, along with siblings Amy (John), Archie (Joanne), Brian (Becky), Etta (Wayne) and their families.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Scher and the nursing staff of Douglas Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care.
Wilma will be missed by her friends, neighbours and all who knew her.
As per Wilma’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family for visitation at Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Avenue in Fort Erie, on Thursday April 24th, 2025 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Benner Funeral Services’ Chapel on Friday April 25th at 11 am. Donations may be made to Our Daily Bread, and would be appreciated by her family.
