I was deeply saddened to hear of Austin’s passing. I will always remember his kindness he showed by allowing me to visit his farm and the warmth he shared during those times. Austin helped me to find my confidence as a young 4H member and always made the time to offer advice and support. His generosity and spirit will not be forgotten. Please know that our thoughts are with your family during this difficult time.

Austin was a generous man, with great work ethic and a friendly personality. He was always willing to lend a hand, offer up the farm for 4-H meetings and judging nights, and willing to help out anyone in need. I have fond memories training 4-H calves on the farm, venturing to local fairs in the stock truck, and smelling the fresh hay and silage in the barn. A truly great man that will be sorely missed.
My condolences to the family and close friends of Austin.

Austin was the sweetest man. He co-lead the 4-H group with my brother John. I will always remember how nice he was and such a family man with his wife Helen. Feeling your pain, losing a good man.

I spent many sleepovers at the farm....growing up a farm over and Carrie being a best buddy. Not really a sleepover as we were still awake with Austin was getting up to milk the cows. So sorry for your loss.

Bill and I send our deepest condolences in the loss of your Dad and grandfather. Many fun evenings were spent either at your house or ours playing cards with your Mom and Dad. Lots of laughs. Carrie woke up crying so your Dad went up and got her; gave her a bottle;set her on the table and she happily sat and watched us play "500" WHILE WE PLAYED AROUND HER. Aust usually won when we played 500. Bill just mentioned that he can remember each of the kids at one time or another ended up on the table while we played cards. I have sooo many pictures and memories. How the years go by. Hugs to all of you.
