Marchuk : G. Evelyn “Ev” (nee Piett)
Evelyn passed away unexpectedly at the Greater Niagara General Hospital in her 96th year. Loving wife of the late Mike. Sadly missed by her sister in law Beverly Piett and her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and their families. She is predeceased by siblings John, George (Alice) and Ray (Marlene) Piett as well as sisters in law Helen Leussler and Dorothy (Jim) Fraser.
Ev will be fondly remembered by her many friends at Albany Place and St. John’s Anglican Church Ridgemount where she was a longtime faithful and active member. Many young minds were influenced by Evelyn during her tenure as a schoolteacher. Thank you to the great staff of F-8 Salon who would ensure that every week Ev was pampered and looking her best.
Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Friday February 28th from 5-7. Funeral Services will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church Ridgemount (Stevensville) on Saturday at 11 am with a reception to follow. If so desired, donations to the church would be appreciated.
