Condolences to Evelyn's family. I lived across the hall from her at Albany place for several years. Even after I moved we continued to send Christmas cards. I will always remember her as the kindest,giving person ever. Blessings...Cathy Cumming

Evelyn was a lovely, patient teacher with all of her students and fellow teachers as well. She was encouraging and helpful to me as a young new teacher, offering resources as well as valued advice. Many wonderful memories.

When I was at Douglas school as a student in the 70s, Evelyn was the Librarian. She was always kind and encouraging and really seemed to enjoy her job. I never forgot her!! In past years I have had the privilege to get to know her a little bit as an adult.A very lovely lady and I will miss running into her from time to time.
