Obituary of Malcolm Grant Oxford
Malcolm (Max) Grant Oxford
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Malcolm (Max) Grant Oxford on Monday February 24th at the age of 73.
Max was born and raised in Sherbrooke Quebec to Robert Talbot Oxford and Pearl Irene Washburn. He married his high school sweetheart Nancy Jean Singleton and is survived by their two sons Joshua (Alisha) and Timothy (Sarah), and his adoring granddaughter, Olivia, who lovingly referred to him as “Pops”.
Max began his successful career in golf as head pro at Milby Golf Club, eventually retiring as National Director for Acushnet Canada (Titleist). He will always be remembered for his love and devotion to his family, great taste in wine, quick wit, 7 P’s and famous eggs benedict.
Pre-deceased by his older brother Stewart (Susan), he will be dearly missed by his brother Allan Oxford (Judy), sister Ellen Loomis (Jeff), and special friend Colleen.
A celebration of life will take place in the Niagara Region later this spring.
