On behalf of all members of the Canadian Provost Corps Association, I send our deepest condolences to Heather and the Family in the recent passing of their devoted husband/father and grandfather, I served with Jim in 4 Provost Platoon in Germany in the early sixties where he was highly respected by his fellow Provost for his friendliness, splendid character and all around professionalism as a Canadian Provost Corps Soldier/Policeman. Jim was the type of individual that once you met him he left you with a lasting positive impression of him that lasted a lifetime. Fondest memories of my former Provost Colleague who as a Brother Mason, I salute with the S Of F. "So Mote IT Be!"

I met Jim in 1998 back in Beijing China. He offered me my first job after my graduation from University. The years I've worked for Jim were the best years in my career life. He's not only the kindest boss but also the nicest friend you would ever find. People absolutely love him after a few minutes getting to know him. He's so positive and always make people so welcomed and warm. He's not just my boss, but a true family friend who my entire family (both my side in China and my husband' side in Toronto) absolutely love. Jim was a real genuine person and will be sorely missed..
Our deepest condolences to the Kidd's family.
