Eichinger, Anthony Walter (Tony, Wally)

 

August 4, 1932 – November 2, 2021

 

With great sadness we announce the passing of Eichinger, Anthony Walter (Tony, Wally) on November 2, 2021 in Fort Erie, Ontario at the age of 89.

 

Born August 4, 1932, in Freising, Germany, he immigrated to Canada in 1952.

He worked in Quebec before moving to Fort Erie, where he worked at Fleet Industries for many years. He also worked at Waverly Hotel as a bartender.

Tony, Wally was predeceased by his wife, Catherine in 1997. Wally leaves his long-time companion Carol Desenflider, his beloved granddaughters Kristin Rose and Danielle Rose and his best friend Rainer Jordan.

Memorial donations in his name may be made to the Fort Erie SPCA.

A Celebration of life will take place at his residence on Sunday November 14, from 2-4 p.m. Covid protocols will be followed at his celebration of life.
