Obituary of Robert Bullard Smalldon

Peacefully, after a long and fruitful life, Robert passed away at the Douglas Memorial Hospital at the beautiful age of 99, one year shy of receiving his much anticipated letter from the Queen. He is survived by his loving wife Sandra Rempel, who was blessed with the years they had together.  Father to Gaye Diezel, Robert Smalldon of Ottawa, and John Smalldon of Listowel. Grandpa to Cami and Keena, Tara and Robert, Ryan, Shane and Riley and to 15 precious great-grandchildren. Bob was also the loving stepfather and grandfather to the Neal and Rempel families and will be missed by many extended family and close friends. 

A Memorial Service to honour Robert's life will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 1 PM at Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie. Capacity limits are in effect and masks are mandatory. Vaccine passports are not required at this time. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. If desired and in lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory may be made to the Douglas Memorial Hospital Auxiliary - Palliative Care.
