Obituary of Hilda Teresa Armstrong

ARMSTRONG, Hilda -

Passed away on September 3, 2021.

Beloved wife of the Late Thomas. Dear mother to Timothy (Sandra) Armstrong, Margaret (Chris) Bougie, Julie (Bart) vonKalckreuth and Theresa (Brian) Mooney. Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Clinton (Valeriia), Kyle (Paige), Leanne (Zack), Gordon, Ashley, Zowie (Mike), Nolan and Justin.  Proud great grandmother to Sloane.

Sadly missed by sister Margaret Niederland.  Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Hilda spent her career as a respected teacher at Our Lady of Victory School.  A devote member of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, the CWL and St. Vincent DePaul, she was above all, an avid supporter of all things family. 

Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6-9 pm.  Covid 19 protocols in place.  Masks mandatory.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church on Monday at 11 a.m.  Interment to follow in St. Michael’s Church Cemetery.  Funeral Mass will be simulcast on https://www.facebook.com/StMichaelRomanCatholicFortErie/
