Obituary of Pat Dunn

Dunn, Patrick Edward

February 4, 1950 – March 8, 2021

We are saddened to announce that after recently celebrating 35 wonderful years of wedded bliss, that Pat the beloved husband and very best friend of Marilyn has lost his brief but mighty battle to an aggressive form of cancer.

Father of Kim (Dave) Howell, Tracy (Colin) Bodley. Grandfather to Ethan, Hunter, Braydon and Khloe. Predeceased by his parents Wray and Dorothy Dunn, Pat leaves behind his brothers, Wray (Yvonne), Michael (Lynda), Peter (Debbie), Steven (Kathy) and their children to carry on the Dunn heritage. Fond memories will remain in our hearts of the hayrides, skating parties, fun, love and laughter that were shared with the Flake family that is so intertwined with ours.

Niece Shelly, her husband Jeff, and his mother Patricia McGregor and children remember him fondly. Pat and Marilyn rode their bicycles hundreds of miles on the lovely trails in our area. They could be found enjoying coffee and an ice cap at their favourite spot in Tim Hortons where Pat would reminisce with all his acquaintances talking about sports and the good old days. At Pat’s request cremation has taken place and a private family Celebration of Life has been arranged by Benner Funeral Services.
