Joan Marie Brunt
Joan Marie Brunt passed quietly at Welland Hospital on the 24th day of January, 2021 to be with her loving husband Bill jr., who passed 5 days earlier. Survived by sons Bill III (Renee), John (Teresa) and five grandchildren Lauren, William IV, Connor, Sarah and Nicole. Also survived by brother Roy Walton (Lynn) and sister Terry Turner (Brian) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Thomas and Lillian Walton.
Joan arrived in Fort Erie as a bride in October 1960. She was first and foremost a loving wife and mother. She was also a firm believer that involvement in the community led to being part of the community. Over the years she was very active in the Fort Erie Progressive Conservative Association of Women. She was a member of St Pauls Anglican Church and many other organizations too numerous to mention.
Benner Funeral Services are entrusted with arrangements. Due to the pandemic, a virtual service will be held online for Joan and her husband Bill
