Obituary of David Larocque

Larocque: David (Boing) David passed away peacefully at home with his cat buddy Hank, on Thursday November 26th, 2020 at the age of 56. Predeceased by his parents, Diane and Roy Larocque and grandparents Michael Lotina and Irene Hayhurst, nephew Lucas, along with his much-loved dog Lilo. Also predeceased by his Aunt Honey and Uncle Kenny. Survived by his siblings, Michael (Val) twin brother Darryl, Michelle (Gary) Stoner and Margie (Gerry) LaCroix. Cherished Uncle of Cara Ramage and her husband and Noah Larocque. Also, Jacqueline (Tim) Newman, Jocelyn (Les) Kiss, Jodi Larocque (James) and their children….special Uncle to Danielle, Melody, D.J. and Devon Larocque. Buddy to Kelly Larocque. Much loved nephew of Aunt Joanne (Jimmy) Newman, Aunt Susie (Larry) Duncan and Aunt Darlene Lotina and their families. David is also survived by his “adopted” Italian family, Sam and Lynn Pascia and their daughter “Little Sam”. David was a friend to all, always willing to lend a hand whenever needed. He kept busy doing odd jobs, cutting grass or shoveling snow for neighbours in the West End, where he spent most of his life growing up. Truly a sincere, kind-hearted man, taken way too soon. There is one word that best describes David, “integrity”. Sometimes, actually most times, his thoughts may have been delivered a little rough, but he always spoke and lived by the truth. David couldn’t have made his final journey home without the help of his night nurse Susan Joiner, RN. He also appreciated the daily visits of Diane, RN from ParaMed. The family is grateful to Dr. Scher, who came to David’s home for a couple of visits while supposedly on a much deserved vacation. The doctors and nursing staff at Welland Hospital were amazing in the month long stay he had there As a tribute to David, please perform a Random Act of Kindness.
