Obituary of Margit Kiefer

Margit Kiefer 'Githa' (nee Lindh) July 31, 1932 - November 11, 2020 Peacefully passed away at Douglas Memorial Hospital with her cousin Susan by her side, surrounded by love. Githa is predeceased by her loving and cherished husband Donald Kiefer and by her parents Einar and Valeria Alexandrowna (nee Sredin) Lindh, her sister Nina Eriksson and Donald's siblings Ben, Lola and Helen. Survived by and much loved aunt of Alexander (Elizabeth) Bagge of Sweden, and siblings Lars, Christian and Tomas of Sweden, and Helene of the USA. Githa will also be lovingly remembered by the Kiefer family. After Retirement, Githa volunteered at Gilmore Lodge, travelled the world, took care of the neighbourhood cats and had a large circle of friends. She will b dearly missed by wonderful family, friends and neighbours in Wales, Sweden, Argentina, USA and Canada. Arrangements entrusted to Benner Funeral Services, Fort Erie. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at Springvale Cemetery in Hagersville, ON. The family would like to extend a Thank You to Dr. M. Jany, Dr. D. Cuthburt, Dr. A. Swaminath and Dr. A. Hussain.
