Hello, my name is Ruud de Kok. I'sorry to hear that Jan Willem passed away. I think that Jan Willem was my best friend when he lived in Holland. I still remember when he and his family left in a red Citroën 2cv. I remember that we had short e-mail contact and I even managed to get a conversation with his father by telephone. After which I even tried to call Jan Willem but for an unknown reason it didn't work out. Though it has been some time ago I feel very sorry for all of his family and friends. I have always had a great wish to visit Canada and aspassisialy Jan Willem and his family but I had unfortunately never the opportunity. I wish you all the best.

Very sad news. :o( My friendship with Jan, from our high school days together, created memories I still carry with me. He had a unique personality that I will always remember. We shared a lot of laughs and those will be fondly recalled by me forever. Take care Jan Willem, may rest peacefully.
