Obituary of Daniel Davis Conway

After a courageous battle, Dan passed away surrounded by those he loved on November 19^th, 2019 at the Douglas Memorial Hospital at the age of 58.  Best friend and husband to Lorraine “nee Emmerson”.  Proud father of Kyle (Danielle) and Cody (Sadie).  Adoring grandfather to Luke and Ben.  Dan will always be in the hearts of siblings Caron (Ercole), Clint (Jean), Mike, Pat (Sue) and twin brother Tim (Georgina).  Also survived by his mother and father in law Lucille and Winston Emmerson, brothers in law Omar, Rick (Linda) and sister in law Denise as well as his large extended family of nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Clinton and Ruby as well as sister Corene.

Dan was a long-time employee of the Great Wolf Lodge and will be remembered by many from the years he spent at Marineland.  His greatest joy was enjoying the company of friends and family over good food and a cold beer.   A special thank you to Dr. Scher and our Douglas Memorial Hospital family for the dignified and compassionate care provided.  

Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave. Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements.  The family will receive friends on Saturday November 23^rd from 2 – 4 pm.  A time of sharing of stories and memories will be held at 4 pm in the Chapel.  If so desired, donations to the Fort Erie SPCA or the Douglas Memorial Hospital Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family.
